Position Description:
In support of VSM Engineering, LLC, a Civil Engineer would be responsible for:
Performing and coordinating a variety of engineering tasks with construction plan development, design, construction services.
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering required. Must possess good oral and written communication and technical writing skills and be able to interact effectively with the team and the public.
Typical Projects Include:
Municipal and Local Government work consists of plans and specifications for streets, storm sewers, water lines and sanitary sewers. Also included are Site Design, Public Meetings, Stormwater Design and Analysis, and Construction Services and Utility Coordination projects.
Qualifications:
- Entry level to Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Civil 3D experience a plus.
- AutoCad experience a plus.
- Analytical skills, creativity, effective communication, organizational skills
- Ability to be self-motivated is very important to a small firm
